Catalina Bike-Packing Adventure

Join us for a magnificent bike packing trek across Santa Catalina Island. We’ll ride from Avalon self-contained to our reserved campsite at Little Harbor. This ride is no cruise in the park as it’s 15 miles one way with 2100 ft of climbing! In addition, you’ll be responsible to haul all your gear with you on your bike. Yes, you can cheat and have some gear (1 Medium duffle bag) dropped off at the campsite and shuttled back. You will need to provide your own bike, all your own equipment, in addition to some of your own food.

What’s included?

• VIP Transport for you and your bike on the Catalina Flier to and from Newport to Avalon

• Biking permit required for island

• Camping fee for 2 days

• 2 Dinners - you must provide your own breakfast and lunch for 3 days.

• Tandem Kayak use on day 2 (shared)

• Guide and mechanical support

• What’s not included?

• Transport to and from Newport to your house.

• Bicycle and camping gear

• Breakfasts and lunches-Pick up some camping meals!

• Extra gear drop at campsite if you don’t want to haul all your stuff ($40)

• SAG Wagon- no vehicle support on island.

  Signups close April 1st and we will coordinate gear requirements and

  carpooling 2 weeks prior to trip.
